Realme P4 Pro 5G vs Samsung Galaxy A36
The Realme P4 Pro 5G has a bigger and brighter display than the Samsung Galaxy A36. It comes with a 6.8-inch OLED screen, 1280×2800 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, making visuals sharper and smoother. The Galaxy A36 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1080×2340 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which is good but not as bright or high-resolution. Realme also offers 1800 nits brightness and HDR10+, while Samsung reaches 1200 nits HBM, so Realme is better for outdoor visibility and watching HDR videos.
In terms of performance, Realme is more powerful. It runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with Adreno 722 GPU, while the Galaxy A36 uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with Adreno 710. This makes Realme faster in gaming, apps and multitasking. Both phones offer Android 15, but Realme supports faster UFS 3.1 storage, while Samsung uses UFS 2.2. Realme also has slightly higher RAM options, making it smoother for heavy tasks.
Camera-wise, both phones have strong main cameras, but Realme focuses on video and selfie performance. The Realme P4 Pro has a 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide camera, with OIS and gyro-EIS, plus 4K video at 60fps and 1080p at 120fps. The Galaxy A36 has a triple camera setup (50MP + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP macro), but it only records 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps, so Realme is better for high-quality videos. For selfies, Realme’s 50MP camera beats Samsung’s 12MP camera.
Battery and charging also favor Realme. It has a massive 7000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, filling 66% in 30 minutes. The Galaxy A36 has a smaller 5000 mAh battery with 45W charging, which is slower and lasts less. Overall, Realme P4 Pro 5G is better in display, performance, cameras and battery, while Samsung Galaxy A36 is still a solid phone with IP67 water resistance and slightly higher software update support.
